A new kind of "Super PAC" - Politically Active Citizens
The acronym PAC ordinarily stands for "Political Action Committee". Perfect Democracy is developing a different kind of PAC - "Politically Active Citizens".
Defined broadly, the term “politically active citizens” would include everyone who votes. In terms of our campaign to Make America a Perfect Democracy, we define that term as citizens who contribute time and/or money to political candidates, political parties, or other organizations of a political nature, including organizations whose primary mission is not political, but that can be affected positively or negatively by the actions (or inaction) of government at the federal, state, or local level.
Communication and coordination are essential to the success of our grassroots, pro-democracy movement. If you are reading this, you almost certainly fit our description of a Politically Active Citizen.
