Join the Pro-Democracy Movement
A new kind of "Super PAC" - Politically Active Citizens
The acronym PAC ordinarily stands for "Political Action Committee". The focus of most PACs is on raising enormous amounts of money and then spending that money to get candidates elected who will serve the interests of the backers of the PAC (typically corporations and billionaires).
Government by the People is a different kind of PAC. We are a collective of "Politically Active Citizens" united across party lines and in spite of differences of opinion on some very divisive issues, in a broad-based and inclusive pro-democracy, grassroots movement. with a common gaol - making America a Perfect Democracy. To achieve our goal, we are organizing Peoples' Assemblies in every state, congressional district, and legislative district in America.
Communication and coordination are essential to the success of our grassroots, pro-democracy movement. If you are reading this, you almost certainly fit our description of a Politically Active Citizen.
To become an active member of Perfect Democracy and the pro-democracy movement, please send an email to info@GovernmentByThePeople.org, or use the Contact Form (below). Include your name (exactly as it appears on your Voter Registration form), your contact information (email address and/or phone number), the governments under which you live. (For example: Missouri, Jackson County, Independence.) That will enable us to help you connect with other pro-democracy Politically Active Citizens who live near you and want to make their local and state governments more democratic.
Although we do need to raise some money, our primary focus is on maximizing the impact of our time as volunteers on various campaigns. You will not receive emails or text messages soliciting financial contributions. Your information will not be sold or shared.

We encourage Politically Active Citizens to support the pro-democracy movement by making contributions to Perfect Democracy (a non-profit, non-partisan, Political Action Committee).

Your donation funds a people-powered political campaign, so Perfect Democracy is required by certain state and federal laws to collect your employment information. Please provide your occupation and the name of your employer, or indicate that you are retired, not employed, or a student - in the "Memo" section of your check.
Perfect Democracy is a 501(c)4 organization. Contributions to Perfect Democracy are not tax-deductible.
