A new kind of "Super PAC" - Politically Active Citizens
The acronym PAC ordinarily stands for "Political Action Committee". Perfect Democracy is developing a different kind of PAC -
"Politically Active Citizens". Communication is vital within a grassroots movement. Let us know the best way to contact you and a Volunteer Coordinator will get in touch with you.
Volunteer and Paid Staff
If you would like to apply for a staff position with Perfect Democracy, please let us know. Send an email to info@governmentbythepeople.org. We give priority to volunteers who are qualified for various staff positions but will also have paid staff. (Any staff members who are being paid will be expected to help raise money to cover salaries.)

Campaign costs in Missouri
An initiative campaign is already underway In Missouri to get a Perfect Democracy Amendment and Proxies for Citizens on the ballot in 2026. The campaign is taking off faster than we expected. We mostly need lots of volunteers to help gather signatures on petitions, but there are some significant costs involved in getting the campaign up and running as soon as possible. We don't need to raise a lot of money right now, but we do need to raise some. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Travel expenses
Our most significant cost at present is covering the travel expenses of our spokespeople and volunteer staff who are beginning to travel throughout the state of Missouri hosting events to promote our ballot proposals, distribute blank petitions and other volunteer resources, and meet with the leaders of organization interested in joining our coalition.
Printing costs
Petitions must be printed on legal size page (8.5" by 14"). Using a union printer, the cost of printing 375 copies is $62.50 per petition (16 cents per copy). The cost of printing 500 copies is $75 for each petition (15 cents per copy).
We have signed up for the maximum plan for printing copies in house from Instant Ink. We can print 1500 copies per month for $54.99 per month. Those copies can be either letter size or legal size and either color or black and white. The savings are greatest for color copies. Our plan at present is to print color copies in house and use union printers to print petitions.
PDFs of both petitions and various support materials (handouts, posters, et cetera) are posted on the Volunteer Resources page of this website. Politically Active Citizens who have joined our campaign and have printers capable of printing the various materials are encouraged to help meet the demand for blank petitions and other materials.
